The movie, "Network" was on PBS last night. I hadn't seen the movie since I watched it on VHS years ago, so it would be nice to see it again in HD quality. I turn it on. Disappointed with the very low resolution & quality picture PBS is broadcasting of it. Couldn't they get a copy clearer than my old VHS tape? It was filmed in 35mm, which would make the movie at least HD quality. You can probably even download a better quality version of it in about a half an hour. Maybe they got the K-mart $4.99 special of the movie. This is a 240-360p picture.

There's a 50/50 chance of plugging in a USB connector the right way. How many years will it take until somebody makes it required that one side should be brightly colored or have a bright dot on it so it goes in the right way on the first try.
Why is it so hard for computer & hardware designers to figure out how to make something user friendly or simple?
